It was poor organisation and short of volunteers that turned this race into chaos.
The participants robbed the organiser of goody bags, t shirts and medals. So there were no more when the longer distance runners came back. There was nothing left.
Marshals were also pulled out and rubber bands as rounds indicator were insufficient.
It was saved finally by Energizer stepping in to refund all participants of the race fee and sent everyone a goody bag including a medal, whether we ran or not.
I got a prize for this race. 5th in category E0008, Net time: 4:24:36 Gun time: 4:25:04
Alas, it is only 39.5 – 39.7km.
